George Gonzalez here! The following information is for your use and consideration when seeking a C.I. for your case search. There are many C.I.’s available to choose from in the Court system. All C.I.’s have access to the same search engines, directories, internet websites, etc. The differences between all the C.I.’s are the Court experiences, investigative experiences, time availability for each case, and search costs and expenses. My entire career has been in the Superior Court system as well as the Adoption/Foster Care/ Dependency Court arena. Our charges for a typical CI search for family members of past adoption cases and also for the Sibling information exchange program (Six) is $225.00. This price includes the CIP program fees, clerk of the court file fees, expenses for local and long distant phone calls, Vital records fees, search engine expenses, mileage, etc. Therefore, to begin this case search a client would have to submit a $225.00 initial deposit, a copy of your identification (driver’s license would be fine) and a completed Family Spirit CIP information questionnaire (available on this website). We would keep you advised as to updates of your case, your balances and expenses all along the way so you will never be surprised with any questionable billings. Let it be noted, 99% of our cases will usually never exceed the $225.00 initial fee. Any remaining initial deposit monies will be refunded back to the client accordingly.
